COBRA POSTURE(BHUJANGASANA)
The word Bhujang means Cobra and asana means yoga pose.Cobra pose is one of the most important back bending yoga asana, which has numerous health benefits range from toe to head.Cobra pose helps to strengthens children tender legs, arms, shoulder, chest and back.This posture improves their ability to breathe deeply and fully. Bhujang asana (cobra pose) is one of the few yoga asanas, which provides health benefits to the entire body.
Expands the chest.
Improves digestion.
It is mainly performed to treat spinal pain, increase flexibility and balance metabolic functioning of the body.
It is an ideal way to relax the body's muscles and strengthen backbone.
Precautions:Those having stomach pain should avoid this posture.
HOW TO DO COBRA POSE
1. Lie down on your stomach and relax. Keep your feet joined from your hips to your toes.2. Put your palms besides your shoulder and head should rest on the ground.
3. with inhaling raise your head up to your navel region and try to see the roof.
4. Maintain the position till 10-30 seconds with normal breathing.
5. While exhaling slowly come back to original position and relax.
Feel the stretching in your body and relax.
